CAMTech is excited to welcome Chris Pesce and Lon Sherritt of Sober Grid as a part of the next CAMTech Webinar Series.

Chris Pesce is a Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sober Grid. In this role, Chris works to drive the commercial success of Sober Grid, a company that has built a smartphone application to help the millions of individuals in recovery, or seeking recovery, from alcohol and drug addiction in the United States. He is motived by a deep, personal connection to the issue of addiction, and continuously seeks to enhance the efficacy of the Sober Grid application, which currently enables more than 100,000 individuals in recovery across the country to immediately access peer support to prevent relapse. Prior to Sober Grid, Chris worked in brand management at Johnson & Johnson where he led cross-functional teams to develop and deliver commercially successful products in a highly regulated industry. Chris holds a JD and an MBA from Boston College.

Lon Sherritt, MPH, is the Chief Data Scientist for Sober Grid, a social networking app that provides those in recovery with the tools they need to maintain sobriety after treatment. For over 10 years, Lon has worked as the Director of Research Technology for the Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research at Boston Children’s Hospital. As a research associate at Harvard Medical School, Lon has more than 18 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing computerized solutions for managing, analyzing and disseminating substance use research and interventions. He also serves as a contributing author to over three dozen peer reviewed manuscripts published in leading scientific journals. Lon also has a strong programming and research design background, having received a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and worked for several years as an electrical engineer before completing degree work for a Masters of Public Health at Boston University.
