Global Health Travel Awards

In an effort to extend the Massachusetts General Hospital commitment to the health of our global neighbors, Center for Global Health Travel Awards support the Mass General community to pursue research, training and clinical service opportunities worldwide.

Global Health Seminar Series

The Center for Global Health holds an ongoing monthly seminar series in which the Center brings together leaders in field of global health as lecturers and discussion panelists. The purpose of the Seminar Series is to provide an opportunity for MGH medical professionals to keep abreast of new advances, best practices, and on-going areas for improvement in the global health field.

Global Medicine Program

The Global Medicine Program is an innovative initiative of the Department of Medicine that integrates the principles and practice of global health and primary care in order to develop future leaders with the skills, experience, and commitment to advance health equity and strengthen health systems in the U.S. and around the world. Global Medicine invests in innovative curricula and mutually rewarding partnerships in urban Boston and rural Uganda to create a continuum of service, teaching, and research opportunities where leadership training occurs in concert with health systems strengthening and direct service to vulnerable populations.

Thomas S. Durant Fellowship in Refugee Medicine

The Thomas S. Durant Fellowship honors the spirit of dedication and service through sponsoring health care professionals to serve refugee populations and victims of humanitarian and natural disasters. This fellowship fosters a sense of commitment to populations in distress and to provide education to aid in the prevention and treatment of disease in refugee populations.
